DIRECTV’s Premier vs DISH America’s Everything

If you’re considering the biggest and best plans available in satellite TV but aren’t sure whether to side with DIRECTV or DISH, this edition of our head-to-head plan battles may help you out with your decision. About a decade ago, DISH’s largest package held a stranglehold on price AND channel value, but with DIRECTV’s plummeting prices (now good for 2 full years) and plenty of exclusive sports and entertainment channels you just can’t find anywhere else, they’re starting to pull ahead…

Quick conclusion: In year one, you’ll save about $30 per month by going with DIRECTV Premier and also get more higher-demand channels compared to DISH’s Everything Pak. Taking into account all major factors (cost, number of channels, premiums, etc), we give the heavy nod to Premier.
